old masks from several African tribes, including Guro and Boule of the Ivory Coast, Dan from Liberia, Kuba, and Songe from the Congo, Fang-Puno from Cameroon, as well as bronzes, Christian icons from Ethiopia, Coptic crosses, baskets, beautiful pieces of jewelry from Ethiopia, copal beads from north Africa, and various wood carvings. These are old pieces that were actually used by the tribes people and not modern reproductions made for the tourist market. |
