Description:
ACeS is based on GMR-2 specifications which is an ETSI standard alike Thuraya (GMR-1) and both are defined as ’satellite GSM’. ACeS offer speech/voice and 2400 bps data services.
Features :
Portable GMR-2 system for tactical usage.
Minimum configuration: Support for 8 physical channels (200
kHz) each supporting 8 voice/data circuits. More can be added.
Real-time presentation of voice/data to operator.
Rack mounted equipment e.g. van, small truck.
Operating distance 3 to 50 km (very dependent on
environment).
Support of voice, CS data (PPP), fax.
Storage of data for off-line processing and replay.
Support of multiple operators (to cover multiple voice/data
circuits simultaneously).
L-band operation with small omni directional antenna |
